- Ballistic rated eye protection
- Note pad, and pen/pencil
- Clothing suited to strenuous activity as well as being seasonally appropriate
- Rain gear / cold-weather gear (seasonal)
- Hat
- Weapons lube
- Cleaning kit
- Water / Snacks
- Knee and elbow pads (optional)
- Gloves (optional)
- Folding chair (optional)
Vehicle Defense Course
- Serviceable carbine in good working order
- Serviceable handgun
- 300 rounds of pistol ammunition
- 300 rounds of rifle ammunition
- (3) or more rifle magazines
- (2) or more pistol magazines
- 1 or 2-point sling
- At least (1) magazine pouch that will retain equipment when moving
- Proper belt to support equipment (leather or tactical belt type 1 ½ W or 1 ¾ W)
- Outside the waistband (OWB) pistol holster
Rifle Instructor Course
- AR-15 / M4 Rifle
- Sling (1 or 2 point)
- At least 3 spare magazines
- Magazine pouch/carrier
- 1000 rounds of rifle ammunition
- Gloves (recommended)
- Knee/elbow pad (recommended)
- Shooting Mat (recommended)
- Cleaning kit (optional)
- Duty handgun, duty belt with holster
- 200 rounds of handgun ammunition
- Note-taking material
Pistol Mounted Optics (RDS) Transition Course
- Serviceable duty pistol with a mounted RDS Optic and suppressor height iron sights
- 600 rounds of ammunition
- (3) or more pistol magazines
- Duty holster and duty belt
- ABSOLUTELY, NO Blackhawk SERPA CQC holsters or trigger finger activated release holsters
Performance Rifle
- Serviceable carbine in good working order
- 800 rounds of rifle ammunition
- (3) or more rifle magazines
- 1 or 2-point sling
- At least (1) magazine pouch that will retain equipment when moving
- Proper belt to support equipment (leather or tactical belt type 1 ½ W or 1 ¾ W)
- Serviceable handgun
- 100 rounds of pistol ammunition
- Outside the waistband (OWB) pistol holster
1-Day Pistol Classes
- Serviceable semi-auto handgun
- 300 rounds of ammunition
- (3) or more pistol magazines
- Outside the waistband (OWB) holster specific to your style handgun
- ABSOLUTELY, NO Blackhawk SERPA CQC holsters or trigger finger activated release type holsters
- At least (2) single or (1) double magazine pouch(es) that will retain equipment when moving
- Proper belt to support equipment (leather or tactical belt type 1 ½ W or 1 ¾ W)
